3-Year-Old AM: 8:10 to 10:55 AM
*Flexible morning drop-off from 7:45-8:15 AM; pick-up time is 10:55 AM for ALL students
3-Year-Old-PM: 11:35 AM to 2:15 PM
*Drop-off is 11:35 AM for ALL students; pick-up time is 2:!5 PM
4-Year-Old: 8:15 AM to 2:15 PM

Morning Arrival
Arrival: Children will be dropped off outside of their classroom door or a door near their classroom and a staff member will greet them and walk them into the building. The attached map, found at the back of this packet, shows where your child’s classroom will enter. In addition, entrances will be labeled. Your child’s teacher will share which location you will drop your child off. You may drop off your child beginning at 7:45 (3-year-old PM programs will need to drop off at 11:35). If your child needs to eat breakfast, they will eat in their classroom.
Parking
Parent parking is available in the main parking lot of MELC. Please park in the designated spots only. For your safety, DO NOT park in front of the building, as this is the bus lane! Additional parking is available in the mall parking lot behind the school or across the street at Muscatine Community College. Please be aware of your surroundings during arrival and dismissal with the increase in young children in the parking lot at these times. Thank you.
Afternoon Dismissal
Dismissal will work in a similar fashion as arrival. You will wait outside, where you dropped your child off, at your dismissal time, and our staff will bring them out to you at 2:15 pm (3-year-old AM classes will dismiss at 10:55 am). For the safety of our students, they will not be dismissed to anyone not on the pick-up list! If you are not here at the designated pick-up time, you will be responsible for coming to the front door to pick up your child.
